Why am I here?
During summer (7th to 8th) I was diagnosed with scoliosis. It wasn't really a problem. I played soccer and I didn't feel a lot of discomforts.
Fast forward to 9th grade and I joined the volleyball team. Everything was going great until in 10th grade I went to the doctor to see available treatment options. The doctor recommended I quit volleyball and joined a swim team. I wasn't completely on board with the idea, so we agreed to mix swimming and volleyball.
This blog is dedicated to athletes who have an obstacle in their way and feel lost like there's no way out. This blog is my story of how I jumped the obstacle and how I'm dealing with my deformity.
