Ball of Water: The Beginning

Welcome to the blog. I will post weekly in order to have a decent amount of material to fill you in with.

As of now, let me tell you a story:

I went to 2 doctors. One of them told me it wasn't the best idea to keep on playing, and when he got that idea into my mom's head, I began looking for answers on the internet to support my wish of playing volleyball. For example, there's this girl with a back far worse than mine that plays. She had surgery of course, but the point is she played with a rather obvious scoliosis.

The second one could be a poet. He told me a bunch of metaphors referring to how my back was doing and which treatment options were good and which were not. If you read the 'about' or 'home' paragraphs you know that he tried to get me out of volleyball but I was against the idea. He insisted on swimming.

(Say, if you catch a cold your doctor might recommend medicines. In my case, swimming is my medicine. This happened:)

We agreed to mix the sports. That way, I could do a year (or hopefully more if I can convince my mom for a third and possibly fourth year) more and swim a couple times a week.

Until later,

Adri
