My First Swimming Lesson

A bit of background info:
My doctor told me to quit volleyball and start swimming. While reading the post below you'll see I hated swimming before I even started. This is because I almost lost my favorite thing to do, volleyball, in order to swim.
I took a trip to Mexico City. The day after the night we came back I was supposed to take my first swimming lesson. Though, I wasn't in the best mood for swimming since I had lost 4 volleyball classes (it makes my day). So I kind of begged my mom to let me take swimming on Thursday and start the week with volleyball on Wednesday.
The day finally came. I didn't have much appetite. I had half a sandwich during lunch and after school I bought a bar from the vending machine. I wasn't hungry for that, either. My ride from school to the swimming school was shorter than I thought.
I got off the car, took my bag (which had my swimming suit, hat and goggles) and went into the building. I headed for the locker rooms and locked myself in the bathroom and changed. Class was at 3:10. I was taking my time, savoring every second left before I had to get out of the stall and find my way to the swimming pool.
Eventually I had to get out. I went to the swimming pools and looked around for someone who might look like my coach. I introduced myself, Adriana, 16 years old, I have scoliosis so keep that in mind. "Do you know how to swim?" Well, yeah. I know how not to drown. She had me do a lap swimming which was really tiring. I realized not swimming for a long time had affected me. Though, I did know how to float. Long story short, I reviewed how to move my legs, arms, did some bubbles and sank to the floor.
The class finally finished at 4:00PM. I was very sleepy. I thought, this would be my life from now on. Volleyball, swimming, volleyball, swimming, volleyball. The weekend would be like heaven.
