New Shoes

Long story short, about a few classes ago it had been raining and we did a lap. I didnt notice the grass was wet and muddy until it was too late. Because I live at a hotel I can't really send my shoes to wash, so I asked my parents if we could buy new ones while we figured out how to clean the others.
So I did my research and ordered a pair that I liked. They arrived successfully to my destination and lately I've been wearing them to practice. I don't know if it's the adrenaline of getting new shoes or the fact that I've been getting better, but my game has improved. Since I bought the shoes I feel that my shots have a better chance at passing, or that I have better control of the ball when it flies to me.
Alright, now about the class. On Monday the girl's team practiced for their/our game on Thursday for the first hour. For me, (because I'm not as good yet, but getting there) the whole class was serving, if it passed and the coach liked it I got my ball back and got into the line again. If it didn't pass, I had to do 10 burpees (along with the other 3 people behind me). The rest (boys) were doing fitness stuff. Tossing a heavy ball at each other, or jumping, or pulling a string of rubber, etc.
On Wednesday we went inside the building because it was raining a bit. I don't know if it was to prevent us from getting sick or to prevent the equipment from getting wet. Thing is, because we had the class in the building, it was MUCH hotter. We had to climb the stairs up and down I don't know how many times (I just stopped when everyone else seemed to stop) and the coach got us into pairs. One pair did this, one pair did that. My pair was a wall and we had to pass the ball back and forth, receiving it with my hands above my head.
On Friday we had the class at the school's volleyball field. During the first hour (which seemed like forever) we did a lot of physical activity. 3 rounds, about 6 exercises each, 40 seconds each exercise. The exercises were: that plank that you swing your body left and right; squats, but you jump and raise your arms (to practice blocking); simpler squats; an exercise where you kneel as if you were proposing, stand up, and propose with the other knee; another plank, but this time your arms are straight and you touch your shoulders, waist, knees, and ankles; and a mountain climber.
As always, the last hour we either practice shots and serve, or we play a match.
