The most tiring day of all without doing much

One day we trained during the whole first hour while the boys did something else. During this week, our turn came to do 'nothing at all'. The coach set us up in pairs and gave us individual instructions. He have me and my partner instructions to pick a basketball and play. Of course, being a basketball you shouldn't receive it with your forearms, but with your hands instead. We were told to do it 500 times per person (so in total passing the ball 1000 times). I thought we were going to finish quickly, we always did. After a while, I looked back and realized the boys were playing against the Lamar students (for the training) and thought to myself, 'We're going to be here a long while'.

Then, I realized it was going to take much more time than what I thought to toss the ball 1000 times. My solution so it wouldn't get boring was to talk for 2-3 minutes every time we achieved 20. Eventually we lost count and decided to switch our basketball for a volleyball just to see the difference in feel.

You know how a basketball is way heavier than a volleyball? Well, I realized this too late and when I tossed it to her it went too high and too far away. For a few minutes, the basketball had made us stronger.

(One time waiting for a game to start, we decided to see what it felt like to play with a yoga ball that was nearby. It felt weird, having the soft, rubber ball hit my arms and hands. To compare, we switched again and when it was my turn to hit the ball I was afraid for a moment I wouldn't be able to, for it was so small.)

The boys' game had gone on longer than expected. We were supposed to leave Lamar at 4PM to occupy the newly unoccupied volleyball field. Instead, we left at 4:30 and many parents waiting to pick up their children at 4PM were there, hopefully waiting patiently in line.

Even though I have done much more in a day than just toss a ball back and forth, I was very tired. I wasn't in the mood to help the team train for the next day's game, but I did. (As for the girls' game, we played against a team that was so good we didn't play against them last year until in ASOMEX).
